The Pride 23 Event Poster features the face of Nobuhiko Takada one of the most important Japanese MMA fighters of all time. Takada fought Rickson Gracie at Pride 1 and Pride 4 and founded the notorious Takada Dojo which has produced some of the best fighters in Japanese history (Kazushi Sakuraba). Pride 23 was the last event that Takada competed in. Takada moved on to running Pride FC's daily operations and gave the opening speach at Pride 33 in Las Vegas right before the UFC bought Pride.
